The upcoming Triumph Street Triple 798 represents a significant generational leap for the iconic middleweight roadster. At its core is a newly enlarged 798cc inline three-cylinder engine reportedly derived from Triumph’s Moto2 racing technology. It features a revised cylinder head and a low-inertia valve train designed to deliver greater power, stronger torque across the rev range, and reduced engine weight.
Beyond the engine upgrades, Triumph is expected to overhaul the chassis with a redesigned main frame, a more substantial swingarm, and revised rear shock geometry to improve agility on both the road and track. Visually, the 798 is expected to move away from the traditional twin “bug-eye” headlights in favor of a futuristic single-pod LED projector surrounded by sharp perimeter daytime running lights (DRLs), complemented by a new underslung exhaust.
While premium components such as Brembo brakes and Showa suspension are expected to carry over, full performance specifications and official launch details are anticipated to be revealed in November 2026.
