The newly unveiled BMW F 450 R is a lightweight, dynamic streetfighter designed to target the global A2 license category. Positioned directly below its larger Roadster siblings, it draws sharp design cues from the flagship S 1000 R while introducing an all-new 420 cc parallel-twin engine. Producing 48 hp (35 kW) and 43 Nm of torque—with 80% of its torque available at just 3,000 rpm—the engine features a 135-degree crankpin offset, delivering strong low-end punch along with a distinctive twin-cylinder exhaust note.
