The 2025 Aprilia SR 175, launched on July 15, 2025, represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the SR 160. It's powered by a newly developed 174.7 cc, air-cooled, 3-valve single-cylinder engine producing around 13.08 bhp at 7,200 rpm and 14.14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, marking a noticeable boost over the 11-12 bhp output of the SR 160. The engine is mated to a smooth CVT automatic transmission and delivers a top speed of approximately 95 km/h.
On the tech front, the SR 175 debuts a sharp 5.5-inch color TFT instrument cluster—borrowed from Aprilia's RS and Tuono 457 motorcycles—with Bluetooth connectivity for call alerts, music controls, and turn-by-turn navigation.
