The 2025 Yamaha YZF-R1 and YZF-R1M are high-performance motorcycles that have received a few notable updates. The base YZF-R1 gets Brembo Stylema front calipers, while both models feature carbon fiber winglets inspired by the Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP bike. The YZF-R1 also boasts a new, fully adjustable 43mm KYB fork, offering improved feel and stability. Both models are powered by a 998cc, inline-four-cylinder engine with a crossplane crankshaft, delivering 200bhp and 113Nm of torque. The advanced electronics suite includes IMU-assisted cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and ride modes, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
