The Triumph TF 450-E 2026 is a high-performance enduro motorcycle engineered for riders seeking power, agility, and advanced technology. At its core lies a 449.9cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC engine that delivers 58.6 PS of maximum power and 49.3 Nm of peak torque. This engine features a 95 mm bore and stroke, with a compression ratio of 12.8:1. Fuel delivery is managed by a Dell'Orto 44 mm throttle body, ensuring precise and responsive throttle control. The powerplant is mated to a six-speed gearbox equipped with an Exedy racing clutch, facilitating smooth, clutch-less upshifts crucial for maintaining momentum in technical sections.
To enhance durability and reduce friction, the TF 450-E's engine incorporates Del West titanium valves and a forged Konig aluminum piston. Additionally, the gudgeon pin and rockers are treated with Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coatings. Cooling is efficiently managed by a high-capacity radiator complemented by an auxiliary fan, ensuring consistent engine performance during demanding rides. The air filtration system features a tool-free, dual-stage filter provided by Twin-Air, simplifying maintenance.
Triumph has collaborated with Athena to develop a bespoke engine management system for the TF 450-E, featuring co-developed mapping and traction control strategies tailored to enhance performance and reliability. Riders can switch between two distinct engine maps on the fly: one for aggressive performance and another for smoother, more controlled delivery on technical terrain. Additional maps can be added using the optional Wi-Fi module and the Triumph MX Tune Pro app.
The chassis features a lightweight aluminum spine frame, designed to provide an optimal balance of stiffness, low center of gravity, and agility. This design ensures high-speed stability and sharp directional control, instilling rider confidence. The frame's construction includes post-fabrication machining for enhanced dimensional accuracy and in-house hand TIG-welded craftsmanship.
Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable KYB components, with 48 mm coil-sprung forks offering compression and rebound adjustments, and a three-way adjustable linkage-driven rear shock. The suspension is specifically tuned for enduro challenges, providing responsive control, excellent power transfer, and maximum traction in demanding conditions. The setup offers an outstanding balance between handling and bump absorption, while minimizing pitch during cornering.
Braking components include Brembo calipers paired with Galfer discs, featuring a 260 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc, ensuring precise and responsive braking performance. The TF 450-E rides on D.I.D DirtStar rims, with a 21” x 1.6” front wheel and an 18” x 2.15” rear wheel, fitted with Michelin Enduro 2 tires for superior traction and control across various terrains.
