Engine & Performance Upgrades

The all-new Bajaj Pulsar 150 2026 receives its most comprehensive overhaul yet while retaining its recognizable silhouette. At its heart is an updated 149.5cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 14 PS of power and an increased peak torque of 14.1 Nm. Notably, peak power is delivered at an earlier 8,000 rpm, providing stronger low- and mid-range acceleration for city commuting. Power is sent to the rear wheel through an upgraded 5-speed transmission designed for smoother and more usable gear changes. The setup is further refined by a new single-cradle frame that uses the engine as a stressed member, replacing the traditional double-cradle chassis to provide improved stability and sharper handling.

Tech Features & Hardware Overhaul

Bajaj has modernized the chassis and electronic features across the 2026 range. The iconic twin rear shocks have been replaced by a modern monoshock suspension setup, working alongside standard 33mm right-side-up telescopic front forks. Higher variants feature an advanced 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation through Google Maps mirroring, and incoming call and SMS alerts. Other notable additions include an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) for quieter starts, a crawl mode for easier movement through bumper-to-bumper traffic, and full-LED lighting for both the headlamp and tail section.

Variants & Braking Configurations

The 2026 lineup is offered in three primary configurations, each aimed at different budgets and feature requirements:

SD Single Seat (Base Variant): Features a single-piece seat, a 260mm front disc brake with single-channel ABS, a 130mm rear drum brake, and a reverse LCD digital display.

TD Single Seat (Mid Variant): Upgrades to dual disc brakes, with a 260mm front disc and 230mm rear disc, along with single-channel ABS. It also adds the standard ISG with crawl mode and a 5-inch TFT console.

TD Split Seat (Top Variant): Shares the dual-disc setup, ISG, crawl mode, and 5-inch TFT display with the mid-spec model but adds a sportier split-seat design and revised pillion ergonomics.
