The Honda CBR500R Four 2027 brings a new level of excitement to the middleweight supersport segment, combining aggressive CBR styling with the thrilling performance and distinctive sound of a four-cylinder engine. At its heart is a newly developed 502cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC inline-four engine that reportedly produces around 69 hp at 11,000 rpm and 46.3 Nm of torque at 10,500 rpm. With a claimed top speed of approximately 210 km/h, the motorcycle promises an engaging, high-revving riding experience. Unlike the standard Honda CBR500R, which uses a parallel-twin engine, the CBR500R Four emphasizes the smooth power delivery, refined performance, and unmistakable character of an inline-four powerplant.
Adding to its modern appeal, the motorcycle reportedly features Honda E-Clutch technology, allowing clutch-free starts, stops, and gear changes while retaining the option of manual clutch operation. Its electronic package is said to include throttle-by-wire, five riding modes, Honda Selectable Torque Control, and wheelie control. A 5-inch TFT instrument display with Honda RoadSync connectivity provides modern convenience, while a 41mm inverted front fork, Pro-Link rear suspension, and ABS are designed to support confident handling and controlled braking.
The Honda CBR500R Four also combines practical dimensions with a sporty design. It reportedly has a kerb weight of 189 kg, a seat height of 780 mm, and 17-inch wheels, complemented by sharp bodywork inspired by Honda’s CBR supersport lineup. Overall, the CBR500R Four aims to deliver the excitement of a high-revving, four-cylinder motorcycle in a middleweight package, offering a compelling alternative to conventional twin-cylinder sportbikes and larger, more powerful superbikes.
