It is designed to inherit the spirited, approachable nature of the legendary SV650 while adding the comfort, protection, and modern technology of a sport-tourer, drawing styling inspiration from the larger GSX-S1000GX. At its heart is an updated version of the charismatic 645cc V-twin engine, now Euro 5+ compliant thanks to new features like a ride-by-wire throttle. This electronic upgrade allows for the integration of the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), which includes three selectable drive modes, a three-level adjustable traction control system, and a bi-directional quick shifter.
