The upcoming KTM RC 450 2026 is shaping up to be a potent mid-weight supersport that bridges the gap between the single-cylinder RC 390 and larger multi-cylinder machines.
Revealed through recent approval documents, the bike is built around a 449cc parallel-twin engine—likely sharing its core platform with the CFMoto 450SR—tuned to deliver approximately 56 HP. True to KTM’s "Ready to Race" ethos, it distinguishes itself from its Chinese cousin with higher-spec hardware, including fully adjustable WP Apex suspension, a steering damper, and aggressive ergonomics. Visually, it borrows heavy inspiration from the larger 990 RC R, featuring aerodynamic winglets and a single-sided swingarm.
