Keeway has officially entered the premium electric scooter segment with the launch of the Hypevolt-R, its new high-performance flagship model. Powered by a robust mid-mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) delivering 12 kW (16 bhp) of peak power and 72 Nm of torque, the scooter accelerates from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 115 km/h. Power comes from a 5 kWh dual removable lithium-ion battery system, offering an impressive IDC-certified range of up to 180 km on a single charge. The battery can also be recharged from 0 to 80% in approximately three hours using the onboard charger. Beyond its impressive performance, the Hypevolt-R features a futuristic, sharp-edged design complemented by 14-inch alloy wheels. It also stands out with an extensive suite of advanced rider-assistance technologies, including dual-channel ABS, traction control, cruise control, hill-hold assist, blind-spot detection, and a dedicated rear-view camera integrated into a 5-inch TFT display, making it one of the most technologically advanced electric scooters in its segment.
