The newly launched Triumph Thruxton 400 2026 is the latest addition to Triumph's growing 400cc lineup, a retro-inspired cafe racer that brings classic style and modern performance to a new segment. Built on the same platform as its siblings, the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X, the Thruxton 400 stands out with its dedicated cafe racer aesthetics. This includes a distinctive half-fairing with a retro-styled round LED headlamp, low-set clip-on handlebars, bar-end mirrors, and a sporty rear-seat cowl, which is often detachable. Powering the bike is a re-tuned version of the familiar 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which now produces a slightly bumped-up 41.4 bhp. Triumph claims this retuning provides a sportier character with a more rev-happy nature and better top-end performance, making it quicker off the line compared to the Speed 400. The Thruxton 400 is also equipped with modern features such as a semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-channel ABS, and traction control. It's designed for riders who appreciate a committed riding stance and classic British motorcycling heritage, offering a unique and aggressive look that pays homage to its larger Thruxton 1200 sibling.
