The 2026 Ducati Diavel V4 RS marks a significant evolution in the muscle cruiser segment, elevating the Diavel's already formidable presence with a dose of superbike performance. At its heart is the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, the same unit found in Ducati's Panigale and Streetfighter V4 models. This powerplant is tuned to produce 182 hp and 89 lb-ft of torque, a notable increase over the standard Diavel V4's V4 Granturismo engine. This performance upgrade, combined with a lighter overall weight achieved through extensive use of carbon fiber and a titanium exhaust, makes the Diavel V4 RS the fastest accelerating production Ducati ever, with a claimed 0-62 mph time of just 2.5 seconds.
Beyond the engine, the Diavel V4 RS is equipped with a host of premium components and electronic aids. It features a dry clutch for a more direct feel and a race-derived sound, along with a full Ohlins suspension setup for enhanced handling. The bike also includes a comprehensive electronics package, featuring multiple riding modes (including a new "Race" mode), cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and Ducati Power Launch (DPL) for explosive acceleration from a standstill. Visually, the Diavel V4 RS is distinguished by its unique carbon fiber bodywork, forged five-spoke wheels, and a numbered plaque on the cylinder head, signifying its exclusivity.
